as i look back to the year that was, i wish i could have grabbed every chance of spending time with my blockmates, discovered gonzaga caf's strawberry shake earlier, gone to simbang gabi in gesu, taken advantage of the belfield lights in december, studied harder for org chem...
YEAH YOU GOT IT.
it's just funny that, despite being the loser that i thought only i could be, i find that i am not alone... the truth is, most of us wish the same.
we wish we could have chosen to be happier.
but i take comfort in knowing that i am surrounded by people who celebrate every mistake they've had in the past year... because no matter how many hearts were broken and how many tears were shed, in the end, we know we have each other. in fact, we wouldn't have known we got each other's back had we gotten the chance to visit heaven (if you know what i mean. HAHA :P) last year.
and so i leave 2008 without regrets or alcohol in my system!
i don't ever mind ending up being janitor nicole (as the t-rex ridiculously puts it) while everyone is struggling against the traitor called tanduuuway.
why, exactly? maybe because when they finally find the will to sober up the next day, i find that they are in fact capable of talking WITH sense. i love them when they're sane.
oh wait, scrap that! they're even more priceless when drunk! trust me, it's a FUHREAKAZOID REALITY TV SHOW with them.
